The aim of this workshop, organised by Ianis Lallemand and led by Andrea Graziano (co-founder of Co-de-iT), was to experiment with clay printing. Using Grasshopper, I designed shapes that were then printed in clay.


I experimented and tried to better understand the behaviour of the material by using it as a thread. In this way I tried to create something that visually resembled knotting, knitting or braiding. No knots have actually been created, but depositing them layer by layer according to a precise pattern can tend to imitate their shapes.
