Hexahorn is a wall panel made up of a set of hexagonal modules, assembled in a grid. Each module consists of a straight base, allowing assembly, and six surfaces sloping towards an eccentric point. Three types of module, each of a different size and shape, were used in the final assembly. These modules are produced by moulding from polystyrene dies, which are hot-wire cut using a 6-axis robot. The prints were made in plaster and hollowed out to lighten the structure. The distribution of the three types of module on the grid, and the possibility of placing each piece in the six positions of orientation offered by its hexagonal base, give an organic rhythm and movement to the whole. Hexahorn is conceived as an immersive landscape designed to absorb the eye.
